- Minimum railing height: 100 cm (110 cm above certain fall heights and in workplaces)
- Openings that stop a 10 cm sphere (child safety)
- Railings must withstand the horizontal loads required by the intended use
- For structural steel elements: CE marking to EN 1090

Lead time and cost
A standard railing usually takes 2–4 weeks from survey to installation. Cost depends on length, material, finish and design complexity: plasma cutting also makes custom decorative panels affordable.
