A workshop, not a switchboard
Metal S.r.l. is a steel fabrication workshop in Arzago d'Adda, province of Bergamo, in the industrial triangle between Milan, Bergamo and Crema. We work on a subcontract basis for machine builders, construction firms, design offices and industry.
A workshop, not a switchboard
Our size is our advantage: the person who answers the phone is the same person who sees the part on the shop floor. There are no intermediate steps, no departments referring you to another department. If a job has a problem, we tell you before we start, not after delivery.
We keep the whole cycle in house — plasma cutting, bending, rolling, welding, assembly — precisely so that we do not depend on anyone else's lead time. That is why, when we give a date, that date holds.
How we think
Understand first, cut second
An hour spent reading the drawing properly beats a day of rework. If something does not add up, we ask.
A date is a commitment
We quote lead times we can meet, not lead times that sound good. And if anything slips, we say so immediately.
You show the part, you do not describe it
The photographs of our work are our own, taken in the workshop and on site. Where a reference image is used, it is stated under the photo.
Small jobs matter too
The one-off spare and the five-hundred-piece batch get the same attention. The single part is often where a customer relationship starts.
In the industrial heart of Lombardy
Arzago d'Adda is about 40 minutes from Milan and Bergamo, a few kilometres from the A35 BreBeMi motorway exit. A convenient location both for deliveries across Northern Italy and for shipments to France, Spain, the UK and the rest of Europe.
