The three most common finishes are patterned/anti-slip, diamond and brushed.
Patterned / anti-slip sheet
Regular geometric relief by hot rolling. Ideal for walkways, stairs and platforms.
Diamond sheet
Decorative finish with small diamonds. Used for facade cladding, urban furniture and design.
Brushed sheet
Surface treatment on stainless. Types: 2B, BA, HL (Hairline), SB (Scotch Brite), No.4.
Cutting and processing
- Plasma: works but may alter finish
- Laser: clean edges, higher cost
- Patterned bending: larger radii needed
- Brushed welding: post-weld cleaning
